Christmas 2011

 Jannica was able to come home for Christmas.

We did some baking.

 Devin came home on the 20th.

 While the rest of the world was doing their last minute Christmas shopping.

The Mitchell gang went to Laguna Beach. It was a nice 70 degree day.

 A little Bowling Christmas Eve.

 Our wonderful host and hostess. We love them so much.

 I have many more where this came from.

 Off to Mimi and Poppies for Christmas Day.

It was such a great Christmas Season. I am so sad it is all over, but feel so blessed to be able to have spent such great times with family and friends. We made so many more wonderful memories.

Allison's Baptism

Allie is Trevor's girlfriend.

 Jannica is her to visit! We did a little baking today.

Tomorrow is Allie's baptism, so we are having a little get together at our home afterwards.

 Off to the Burton's for some fun times.

Rocklin is a fun place to be at Christmas time. We have a neighborhood that 

almost every house is decorated in some kind of Disney theme.

Tonight we had a bonfire and BBQ.

 Even Santa roasted marshmellows.

 We were even on the channel 13 news.

This is Hal and Audrey's neighbors light display this year.

Every year we can't wait to see what they come up with.

EXHAUSTED! FROM LACK OF SLEEP DUE TO MY MIND NOT SHUTTING DOWN AT NIGHT. I AM IN CHARGE OF THE WARD CHRISTMAS PARTY AND IT WILL BE OVER ON SATURDAY. ...... I LOOK FORWARD TO SLEEP.

I HAVE BEEN TOLD BY MY DAUGHTER THAT WE ARE JUST ALIKE IN CERTAIN WAYS. ONE IS THAT WE GET TIRED OF CARS ABOUT EVERY TWO YEARS. 

THIS IS TRUE, BUT FOR THE FIRST TIME EVER I BOUGHT A OLDER CAR THEN I OWNED BEFORE. THE LAST FEW MONTHS WE HAVE HAD OUR SHARE OF CAR ISSUES. IT ALL STARTED WITH DEVIN'S CAR CATCHING ON FIRE THE NIGHT BEFORE HE LEFT FOR HAWAII. THEN CAME TREVOR'S ISUZU'S TRANSMISSION GOING OUT FOR THE 3RD TIME. SO THE ISUZU WENT TO THE GRAVE YARD AND IN CAME THE 2000 CAMRY.

 I AM TRYING TO BE SMART AND GET RID OF A CAR PAYMENT. SO OUT WENT MY MURANO AND IN CAME MY NEW/OLD SEQUOIA. I THINK I FEEL WEIRD THOUGH DRIVING THIS ONE AROUND WITH ALL THESE SEATS AND NO PASSENGERS. 

I'M FEELING AS IF I SHOULD GET INTO THE CAR BUSINESS, BECAUSE I LOVE CARS SO MUCH.
