Ok This picture is for my children who like to rub it in when

they are eating corndogs and I'm not.

My family LOVES Corndogs!

Eric and I took a nice little trip this week.

I played all day and Eric worked all day.

We ate some great food.

 It is really hard to get our Timeshare near Monterey California.

It is in Marina Dunes, and it is one of our favorite.

We were lucky to get it for 3 days.

 I had to beg Eric to take me over to Pacific Grove today.

I don't get to Monterey very often. 

I think he was happy we went. It was a rare day and something

we haven't seen before. The Humbolt Squid were coming to the shore.

They are so cool to watch. They shoot water spraying out really far.

They also shoot ink. The seals were eating them also. It was 

so fun to watch. You can see one in the picture below.

I want to skip Halloween and move on to Thanksgiving.

My house is ready for Turkey and family.

I can't wait for my family to come this year.

Bring it on.

Gobble Gobble

 Corn Dogs are so good, but your going to get fat.

Ha Ha Ha.

These little brats sent me this text today.

 So I sent this one back.

Yep Mom's and Dad's have fun too.

Camping at it's finest. We had a great weekend with our new friends Rick and Brandi up in Lodgepole. This was a great campground treasure that they introduced us to. It had a great reservoir and a beautiful stream that ran right behind our campground.

 Unbelievable weekend.

We went to our timeshare in Bass Lake Ca.

Played at the lake and ate and ate and ate with our friends Dave and Shelly.

Then it was off to Yosemite. 

Eric and the boys went there a couple of years ago to hike Half Dome. 

I saw the pictures and thought it was incredible that they did it.

I had no idea how incredible it was. I had never been to Yosemite. 

WOW is all I can say. If you haven't been you should put it on your list.

It is just amazing. Just look at the colors. They are not enhanced.

Anyone who has climbed Half Dome, I solute you.

A Great Day

 A Great Day in Northern California

 I woke up very sick this morning, but so glad I did not stay in bed.

Eric and I decided to take black beauty on a lil road trip to Muir Woods.

We had never been there. Ahh the fresh air did me good. 

The big red woods are so beautiful. We then finished up our day at Stinson Beach.

We had a nice nap on the beach. The greatest part of the day was we didn't even look at

our watches all day or our cell phones. Just pure fresh air.

Ok we did call some family members on the way home.

Life

Life..... has a way of not always going as the dreams in our hearts and minds.

August has been full of twists and turns for mine.

It was a sad day for me on July 16th when my baby decided to spread his wings

and fly. Not to the mission he had planned but to Southern California.

 August has been quite eventful. Eric and I spent a great

week in Oceanside Ca. before the busyness started.

Well it started before we left home.

 I had a great Birthday spent with those I love in Laguna Beach my

favorite place on earth. My sister and her husband treated me to The Pagent of the Masters.

 Then it was on to a beautiful surprised event that we planned

in a week. Britt and Mike decided to finally tie the knot and everything just

fell into place so perfectly. The ring, the dress, the Bishop, the flowers, the 

photographer, the most beautiful place. etc. etc.... 

 Brittani, you are gorgeous!!!

 And I am so happy to have a new son-in-law...

 I love my family. Both sides. 

What a great month it has been.

I just want to live closer to them!!!
