Corn Dogs are so good, but your going to get fat.

These little brats sent me this text today.

Eating corn dogs at Disneyland.

 So I sent this one back.

Yep Mom's and Dad's have fun too.

Camping at it's finest. We had a great weekend with our new friends Rick and Brandi up in Lodgepole. This was a great campground treasure that they introduced us to. It had a great reservoir and a beautiful stream that ran right behind our campground.

 Unbelievable weekend.

We went to our timeshare in Bass Lake Ca.

Played at the lake and ate and ate and ate with our friends Dave and Shelly.

Then it was off to Yosemite. 

Eric and the boys went there a couple of years ago to hike Half Dome. 

I saw the pictures and thought it was incredible that they did it.

I had no idea how incredible it was. I had never been to Yosemite. 

WOW is all I can say. If you haven't been you should put it on your list.

It is just amazing. Just look at the colors. They are not enhanced.

Anyone who has climbed Half Dome, I solute you.

A Great Day

 A Great Day in Northern California

 I woke up very sick this morning, but so glad I did not stay in bed.

Eric and I decided to take black beauty on a lil road trip to Muir Woods.

We had never been there. Ahh the fresh air did me good. 

The big red woods are so beautiful. We then finished up our day at Stinson Beach.

We had a nice nap on the beach. The greatest part of the day was we didn't even look at

our watches all day or our cell phones. Just pure fresh air.

Ok we did call some family members on the way home.

Life

Life..... has a way of not always going as the dreams in our hearts and minds.

August has been full of twists and turns for mine.

It was a sad day for me on July 16th when my baby decided to spread his wings

and fly. Not to the mission he had planned but to Southern California.

 August has been quite eventful. Eric and I spent a great

week in Oceanside Ca. before the busyness started.

Well it started before we left home.

 I had a great Birthday spent with those I love in Laguna Beach my

favorite place on earth. My sister and her husband treated me to The Pagent of the Masters.

 Then it was on to a beautiful surprised event that we planned

in a week. Britt and Mike decided to finally tie the knot and everything just

fell into place so perfectly. The ring, the dress, the Bishop, the flowers, the 

photographer, the most beautiful place. etc. etc.... 

 Brittani, you are gorgeous!!!

 And I am so happy to have a new son-in-law...

 I love my family. Both sides. 

What a great month it has been.

I just want to live closer to them!!!

 Next stop a ferry ride into Victoria BC and the Buchart gardens.

 From our timeshare we were right next to fisherman's wharf.

This cute seal was so friendly. He was just waiting for the food.

 We did alot of eating. These were our favorites. 

The fish and chips on the wharf, and the dutch food in Lyndon Wa.

 I can't remember if we went to Lyndon as a child, but I know we went

to Canada. My mother would have loved this street with the beautiful houses and trees.

 Then it was back to Birch Bay at our Timeshare there.

 We surprised Jannica and picked up the boys in Washington and brought them 

to Canada with us for a day. She thought they weren't going to be able to make it. 

 This suspension bridge was awesome in Vancouver Canada.

 All I can say about Jannica's second ceremony was FREEZING!

 Our favorite restaurant we like when we go to visit Jannica. Country Boys in Cashmere.

Congratulation's Jannica. We are so very proud of you.
